The scholarship application deadline for 2024 is Friday, March 1st.
The Decorah Community School District Foundation is affiliated with Scholarship America®. In addition to our local scholarships, this partnership links our community to nearly 1000 Dollars for Scholars® programs operating across the country, linking local students with national scholarship opportunities. Scholarship America® has awarded more than $41 million to 40,000 students annually.

By completing an online common application form, students become eligible for local scholarship awards. All applications are scored online. Applicants receive points for a variety of qualifiers including work experience, school and community activities, and their academic record. The selection process is objective; making scholarships available to a wide range of deserving students planning to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.
Who is eligible? Any high school senior who is a student of the Decorah Community School District including those dual enrolled or students enrolled in the Home School Assistance Program.

Founded in 1991, the Decorah Community School District Foundation is devoted to increasing resources for District students and excellence in the educational opportunities, services, and facilities of the Decorah Community Schools.
